Incheon: Surrounded by Islands

Incheon city is famous as the sight of MacArthur's strategic landing during the Korean War. This city features a port along the Yellow to west. The new International airport on one of the several picturesque Islands, Yeongjong Island serves the purpose of transportation in Northeast Asia. It is apolitically independent city with a population of 2.5 million. Incheon is more or less considered to be a suburb of Seoul district.

Incheon Korea serves as the biggest transportation hub. People get the transportation service both in air and sea from this port city. Many beautiful Islands surround the city which includes Yeongjong Island and Ganghwa Island--these two Islands are within city limits. Some of the Islands are still awaiting inhabitants.

These Islands have been the greatest attractions for the tourist right from the beginning. Clean, safe and modern environment of these newer areas prove to be absolutely safe for foreign investment. Many Incheons commute to Seoul every for jobs or some other reasons. Conversely many inhabitants of Seoul invade the islands in their weekend.

Buddhist temple, Jeondeung-sa, Site of Goryeo Palace and Yongheung Palace are some of the locations where you will find a crowd of visitors. Numerous parks and shopping areas also grace the city. Iayu Park and Ganghwa Market are very famous amongst tourists.
